Weird things from Brimfield Sept. 2012

I always love seeing everyone's "weird things we saw at Brimfield" photos.  I FINALLY went for the first time and I have my own photos to share.  It was everything I dreamed it would be.  For those of you who don't live in New England, the Brimfield Antique show happens 3 times a year (a week long each time).  It is supposedly the "largest outdoor antiques show in the world, with over 6,000 dealers and 130,000+ visitors during the course of the week."  according to the shows website.  And I'm lucky enough to live 40 minutes away.  I already can't wait until next year!

This is only a fraction of the weird and wonderful things we saw:

I'm not sure what these are but it's so funny that there is a right and left.

If you grew up in the 80s I bet you want to wrestle these right now.  Ugh, I do.  I should have bought one.

These are wooden textile printing blocks from Pakistan, used to mark textiles before they are embroidered.  I bought a paisley.

 So mid-century modern cool!

Milk bottle caps, it's kinda weird that I like these because I'm severely lactose intolerant.

Advertising print blocks, or something like that.
I've died and gone to vintage fabric Heaven!

I bought two cool necklaces, the paisley I mentioned above, and a pretty little pop-up card.  In other words two fashion items, a surface pattern item, and a paper engineered item.  Could I be more predictable?  I'll try to take photos soon to show you the goodies.
