Scrapbook Project: Bookbinding small books for gifts

What's more substantial than a greeting card, less time than a scrapbook, is made out of scrapbooking supplies, and makes a great gift? A small handbound book!

This small book is great for collecting quotes, stamps, inchies, thoughts, etc. and it's easy to make.

Assembling Instructions:

First, cut a small stack of pages. Cut one end of each paper with a fancy scissor. Punch two holes equal distance from the sides and end of the side opposite your decorative edge. Sew the book together. Decorate the front and back of the book

Sewing instructions:

Using waxed linen thread and a bookbinding needle, start by sewing down through hole 1. Sew around edge C and back down hole 1. Sew around edge A and back down hole 1. Sew up hole 2 around C and up hole 2. Sew around side B and up hole 2. Now simply tie the ends in a bow and trim.

Congrats, now you have a wonderful, personal, hand made book to give as a gift (or keep for yourself).
